Hike to Nam Tok Paa Gob, The Frog Rock Waterfall

Almost a secret the Frog Rock Waterfall is hidden on Doi Pui above Huay Tung Tao lake. I've done this walk many times but never at the end of the dry season, the forest was incredibly dry, the waterfall reduced to a mere trickle. Took a group of friends, some of which were still hammered from the night before, especially York who had been providing some of the group with a Heineken and Sangsom breakfast for several hours.
Despite being with a fairly noisy group I was able to get a few pics, 14 of which are new species to this site.

Sparassidae spider species (Huntsman Spider). Almost stepped on this spider as we were walking on the trail.

This Mantid Lacewing moved out of my way in thick leaf litter, first one I have ever seen.

Tufted Jungle King butterfly, family Nymphalidae. This species has a wingspan of 90 - 120 mm.

I'd seen some Common Faun's before but this was the first time I was able to take a picture

Iton semamora semamora also called The Common White from the Skipper family of butterflies.

This small Butterfly goes by the name of The Dingy Lineblue, wingspan of 19 - 22 mm.

I first saw some Pale Hedge Blue's (Udara dilecta dilecta) in the Khunchae National Park, Chiang Rai a few weeks ago, these were puddling close to the waterfall.

The Common Lascar is a striking orange stripped butterfly from the Nymphalidae family. This one was hanging around an almost dry stream bed.

Ichneumon Wasp's are mostly parasitic wasps but some lay their eggs directly into the ground.

This is a small green Leafhopper, probably a Cicadellidae species

There were many of these Geometrid moths that would erupt from a stream bank as I passed.

Some images from the hike still to be identified.
