Marine Fish of Thailand, a new page thanks to our new partner, Adam Bodley-Tickell.

Picture
Now it's always exciting to be contacted by a new wildlife photographer, this was especially true for us at FGW, when it turns out that the photographer in question dons breathing apparatus and plunges beneath the waves. Welcome Adam, with a big thanks for sharing your pictures of some of Thailand's amazing Marine Fish.

160 Thailand Plant Families with Scientific, English, Thai and Chinese names

Picture
We've just finished putting together a page with 160 of Thailand's plant species with Scientific, English, Thai and Chinese names (where available).

We hope this will be a useful aid in identifying local species through searches using Thai and Chinese, opening up a wealth of information that is perhaps not possible searching in English alone.

Sphingidae species pages now live.

One of the long term goals on the site is to include individual pages for each species. So far we have concentrated on a few families of Coleoptera (Beetles) and Hemiptera (True Bugs), but are working to spread this globally through out the site.

To get this going we've just finished making pages for just under 50 of Thailand's Hawk and Sphinx moths, each with information such as distribution and where we can find them common names.

Below is a list of all the Sphingidae we currently have on the site, we direct links for each species page.
