  • Common names: Rubber Root Borer; Lateral-banded Mango Longhorn; Mango Longhorn, White-spotted Longhorn
  • Distribution India through South East Asia to China, also Mauritius and the West Indies.
  • Image locations: Chanthaburi (Khao Soi Dao N.P.), Nakhon Si Thammarat, Surat Thani (Koh Samui)
  • Hosts:  Broadleaf, Hevea brasiliensis, Mango, Jackfruit, Cocoa , Kapok Erythrina fusca, Ficus elastica
  • Additional notes: Recorded on Hevea brasiliensis in Thailand, particularly on trees damaged by other causes such as fire and lightning (Nair, 2001). Larvae also feed on freshly felled timber. Frequently encountered in fruit trees, but never a serious pest. 1. ​
