  With this species, there are usually two forward white spots and two red spots to the rear. However, there are 4 named other forms (hence the name versicolor).
  f. bipunctata has no white or yellow forward spots, only two red spots towards the rear.
  f. approximans has two miniscule white or yellow forward spots, but only a single red rear spot.
  f. distanti, where there are 4 spots, the front two being yellow (not white) and the rear ones red.
  f. luteopunctata which has all 4 spots yellow.
