  • Common names: Greater death's head hawkmoth
  • Distribution: Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and China to southern Japan, then southeast through Burma/Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia to Papua New Guinea
  • Image locations: Chaiyaphum, Chiang Mai
  • Additional notes: A common species in Chaiyaphum during the winter months, attracted to blacklight.
